Covers the evolution of captives from 1981-present, and an overview of the case law, IRS rulings, notices and bulletins that govern the operation of captives.

This course will review the impact of foreign vs. domestic domicile for captives, regulatory, actuarial, and premium tax compliance, the general rule for income taxation of captive structures, along with recent case law developments and IRS positions.
